Africa-wide EIA Regulation Investigation
(Nairobi, Kenya. February): By utilizing a frame work of University of Montreal, Canada, ETA conducted an Africa-wide investigation on regulations of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). All the African countries were targeted and most of them were successfully investigated.
Consultancy Project in Mozambique & South Africa
(Nacala, Mozambique. January): The second year of ETA’s consultancy services in Mozambique for PADECO (an international development consulting firm headquartered in Tokyo with project experiences in over 110 countries worldwide) started. The project is to expand the Nacala Port, Northern part of Mozambique. In this project, ETA is providing consultancy services related to (a) Mozambican, South African & Japanese regulations on air, water, soil, sediment, noise and waste management, (b) environmental monitoring as well as (c) field work supervision for development and construction of the port among other services.

Contract Renewed with Wellthy Corporation for its Business Development in Kenya
(Nairobi, Kenya / Tokyo, Japan. January): Wellthy Corporation and ETA renewed a service contract for ETA to provide two staff to act as the representative and the deputy representative of Wellthy for its operation in Kenya.
