Air Quality and Wastewater Regulatory Investigation for Africa
(Kiambu, Kenya. December): Following Africa-wide investigations on regulations of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and hazardous waste management, which were conducted in 2017 and 2018, ETA commenced investigating air quality and waste water regulations targeting all the African countries.
Contract Renewed with MCAS for its Business Development in Kenya
(Tokyo, Japan & Kiambu, Kenya. December): Mitsubishi Chemical Aqua Solutions Co., Ltd. (MCAS) and ETA renewed a service contract for ETA to avail two skillful staff to act as local representatives of MCAS for its water treatment projects in Kenya.

November): ETA provided consultancy services to Tobe-Shoji Co., Ltd. to conduct a market and regulatory research and to assist in exchanging data and facts with authorities and other public and private sector institutions to develop business of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle recycling in Kenya.
New Contract with MCAS / JICA for Water Treatment in Kenya
(Tokyo, Japan & Kiambu, Kenya. October): ETA signed a contract for two years with Mitsubishi Chemical Aqua Solutions Co., Ltd. (MCAS) under a collaboration program of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) to develop guidelines for treatment of highly turbid water in Kenya.
